Position Description
Primary Purpose:
The Gas Chill Refrigeration Technician for the Rocky Mountain Region will report to the Gas Chill Operations Supervisor and will be primarily responsible for the installation, operations, and maintenance of equipment leased to customers for the purpose of treating Natural Gas for the removal of Natural Gas Liquids (NGL).
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Install, commission, maintain and repair mechanical refrigeration units (MRU), hydrocarbon stabilizers (HSB) and related equipment used to process natural gas.
Troubleshoot, identify and repair refrigeration and gas processing problems in the field.
Solder (sweat) copper lines and charge refrigeration circuits.
Install, diagnose and repair electrical components. Work on energized electrical equipment.
Install, operate and repair natural gas valving and regulating systems and liquid processing equipment.
Play a key role in the success of a customer's processing needs by working on a project from inception, through the budgeting and installation phases, commissioning, and ongoing operations.
Excel in the observance of all Environmental Health and Safety regulations, Operating and Maintenance Procedures and Company Policies.
Work closely with Engineering, Business Development and Management to affect successful projects and results for Kinder Morgan customers.
Position Requirements
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Technical School training in refrigeration and electrical preferred.
Certifications, licenses, registrations:
Satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company and a current, valid State driver's license.
EPA Certification/Universal Section 608 (40CFR Part 82, Subpart F).
Competencies, Skills, and abilities:
3-5 years Refrigeration - AC experience.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and refrigeration systems.
Must have the ability to effectively organize, plan, prioritize, document and complete work with minimum supervision.
Advanced computer skills. Position duties will often require the successful applicant to file documentation, cummunicate with fellow team members and customers, search out resources and manage overall work flow from remote locations by computer.
Ability to effectively communicate using both oral and written forms of communication to internal and external parties.
Must be able to work with management to forecast and establish budgets for individual field projects, as well as manage parts and materials inventories.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Position will require indoor shop and office work.
Much of the work for this position will involve working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
Position will involve driving of 50,000 miles or more per year.
Position will require extensive travel, with 100 or more nights a year in hotels.
This position will involve other duties as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
